Bad solder joints in the A/C controller can stop the system completely. Very good with pictures of the offending parts.

Just repaired the ECC unit on my 92 940. compressor would not run. Examination of the ECC board revealed a dry joint on the Pressure controller switch. Reran the solder joint, presto the AC works fine.
93 volvo 940 A/C compressor will not come on when switch is deprest. almost postive 134 A is ok.
