It turns out that the cap covering the spray assembly pops off, and then you can simply back-off the nut. Much easier than I had thought. When placing the new arm on, you will need to be sure the new arm positions the wiper so as to stay on the glass at all times. These wiper arms are very fragile, so when I go to an automated carwash, I tape a piece of plastic over it (which I obtained by cutting down a plastic gallon milk bottle, and I use clear duct tape that leaves no residue of gray adhesive).
