interchangeable wheels?

Postby Sadenah » Sun Nov 21, 2010 5:01 pm

Could anyone tell me if wheels from a:
1992 Volvo 960 - 5 lug pattern
will fit on my:
2000 standard V70 wagon.
195 65R 15

I am looking for wheels to place studded tires on.

Thank you

The lug pattern is the same but you might have some trouble with the offset. i think the rear-wheel drive volvos have something like 20 mm offset, while the fwd have around 40-43 mm offset. you may need wheel spacers for rwd wheels.
I think all fwd will fit your 2000 with the exception of 1993 850s. some ford wheels will also fit.
good luck

the 95-98 960/s90/v90 share the same offset but the 760/91-94 960 have the traditional offset of the rear drive models and will push your tires out too close to wheel openings. Contact will occur in rear on bumps and up front on bumps and probably at normal ride height when wheels are turned very far from center.

This is wrong.
Ambitious but rubbish
