    Install a new ETM

    Postby nicopag » 21 Aug 2011, 19:40

Hi everybody. I want to know if I change my ETM from my VOLVO V70 1999 (this pn 8644347) I need to do something with a software upgrade.
    Does anybody knows about this?
If I buy the item HERE the item 10 is SW (software upgrade)
And what happens if I install a new one but used ETM? Its the same?
Can I do it myself if I have the Volvo Dice?
    Please help me with this
    Thanks

Hi nicopag Just as a follow up to your post how did you manage to replace the ETM and did you purchase a new or used unit?

Hi! Are you sure is the ETM? In my case I bought the Dice Scanner and I checked that the ETM didnt have a problem.
The problem was the MAP sensor. Just 129 usd and now it runs smooth.
Be sure that is the ETM because its expensive.
