Front door 850 window track repair
Front door window track R&R for an 850: I replaced my front drivers window track today, it was clunking while opening and closing the door. The track has a bracket that broke due to what looks like metal fatigue and replacing it was harder than it needed to be. I suppose I could’ve gone to a junkyard but called around and none in my area had what I needed and one even charged a $50 minimum…so instead I bought it from the dealer for $22.
You mean the clips on the bottom of the window with those crappy green plastic things in them? I need one too. Got a part number? Need help.
those crappy little green things are called the regulators and you can find them on ebay or order them from a local foreign auto repair place. they cost around 5 bucks for 2.
I have a 2000 S70 purchased new I rarely rolled down the rear windows. I recently rollled down the passenger side rear and it wouldn’t roll up. Both swiches, drivers consul and right side rear door are dead. I need help ?
I have the same issue as Brent Hearn (July 7, 2011 at 12:00PM) but my passenger window goes up about 3/4 of the way so I don’t think it is the switch. My mechanic says it is likely the window register. Are there some other rebuilding instructions for this part?
