New Site

After a day of downtime, two days of scrambling, and three days of tweaks, the new Matthews Volvo Site is at a place I would describe as “stable”.

Most sections are back, with my emphasis given to getting the MVS Volvo Forums running smoothly again. While I continue to work on that (and accept suggestions and bug reports), I turned my attention to the somewhat neglected Car pages yesterday.

Today I got WordPress running again (you’re looking at a WordPress post — it handles most non-Forums pages) and with that I consider the main body of initial work done.

What’s Next

• a million small fixes
• adding pages like Contact, About
• getting the Repair Database entries into individual pages for easier searching
• country flags for forum users
• Volvo model/year requirement on new forum registration
