“Is it hard to find a repair manual for a Volvo S60? I searched the forum, and eBay, then the web. Even a post on this forum said I wouldn’t find one. Whats the deal?”
You will find that Haynes, who also do Chilton books, have not produced a manual for the S60.
You may find that VADIS will be helpful. Many of us on this forum use it and it does cover many repairs for the newer – post 1999 – cars.
This is obtainable on eBay, with the UK site having much lower prices than the US site.

According to the Haynes UK-webpage a Repair Manual for the S60 is about to be released in february.

Truthfully, the Volvo VADIS software has the best manual. While some features of it require expensive interface components to talk with your car’s computer, VADIS is the system the Service Department used until Sept. 2003. Then they went to an online system. However, the S60 hasn’t changed since 2002, so VADIS is the “manual” of choice. I’m not going to recommend you look in torrent sites or newsgroups since Volvo didn’t officially release it to the general public, but you will find it in those places if you’re so motivated. Install disc is over 4GB since it handles all models of Volvo.
