AC Takes Sweet Time to get Cold in Volvo XC90

Air Conditioning Volvo XC90“My AC now takes a little bit to get cold when I turn it on. It never used to do that. I have checked freon level at the low pressure port and it tells me the level is at its max. What else could be causing the air to take some time to get cold?”

  1. “My AC now takes a little bit to get cold when I turn it on. It never used to do that. I have checked freon level at the low pressure port and it tells me the level is at its max. What else could be causing the air to take some time to get cold?”My mechanic has also check the comressor and all the lines he stated that everything is wroking good but why is it only a little cool not cold especially in the day it doesnt cool at all

  2. Could be the wrong amount of freon in the system. More info is required to diagnose the problem.

With engine at idle, and A/C turned onto max cool (fan can be on low circulation)… Answer the following:

Ambient Temp? High Pressure Reading? Low Pressure Reading? Compressor Cycling? How long on (compressing) and how long off?
