1. Summer is coming fast. It’s time for air conditioning answers, because you don’t want to stick to your Volvo’s seats. I suggest starting in the MVS Climate Control category https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/category/climate-control

speaking of control arms, this topic on Febi brand control arms https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=75281 documents users’ opinion of Febi over a year.

3. “Which XC90 to buy?” — There’s been a rash of questions in the XC90 forum on the first generation XC90. Which would you buy?

These are good questions. Why? No other Volvo model in North America offered a wider range of engines over its life. The first generation XC90 debuted in 2003 with Volvo’s bulletproof 2.5 turbo inline-five cylinder. From there, things went all over the map, starting with the T6 which suffered from an understrength automatic transmission. Then the V8 came, and finally the unloved naturally-aspirated 3.2 inline-six https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volvo_SI6_engine.

4. Spring MVS Moderator donation drive starts… now! This is your chance to help the moderators buy some parts for their Volvos.
