My 1981 Volvo 240 DL (5-speed) idles differently in hot and cold weather. While in cold weather, stopped at lights, the engine races and I need to let off the clutch almost all the way to keep the engine running normally. During warm summer months the engine acts the opposite. It sputters while I am stopped at red lights causing the car to shudder and shake. I have had a few shops look at it and replace hoses, O2 sensor, etc, but they cannot figure out the problem.
