Get a Haynes manual for your 850. In addition to telling you the steps to get to your speaker, it's filled with other invaluble info on your Volvo.
As for the speaker, when you get it out, take it to a car audio shop and buy a pair of new ones for the same price as one from the Volvo dealer. Just be sure they fit/don't need extra brackets etc.
