Just bought a 1998 V70 GLT from E bay for $13998.00 with 80,000 miles. My driver's power seat only works sometimes, and the 3 phase memory position never worked. Then when it doesn't work about 3 minutes later I hear something clicking.I thought it might be the overload protection interfering with it working? Yesterday the driver's window on auto stopped working. All the other windows work. I was told I had to replace the whole switch for both of these. There are no seperate fuses on this model for auto window (driver's) and power seat. I ordered 2 switches $65.00 each, but now I learn the switches may be fine, perhaps just need cleaning.Why have they put all this electrical stuff in. What happened to crank windows. What a racket. I hope I don't have to keep buying/ cleaning switches.
