Hi, I own a 1995 850 T5 wagon is Australia. Bought it in 01/2001 and for the past 12 months nothing but problems. Problem- When the central locking is activated from inside the car with the engine running. The central locking cycles through a few times up/down/up/down. Whilst doing this the hazard lights also flash. The car was purchased with extended warrenty from Volvo and has been in the workshop over 20 times in 12 months. Volvo has 1- fixed 2 bad earths supposedly 2- replaced central locking relays 3- replaced locking mechasisms on the RHS of car and tailgate locking mechasisms 4- Replaced alarm module 5- re-run earthing cables on most of car. Fault was still evident, now they claim to have rerun earthing on the alarm module. This has fixed the fault I think. But in the process I think they have disconected my alarm. What is the best way to check my alarm is working properly. I have already sat in the car, locked car with remote locking, alarm LED comes on. Open car from inside and can start car with the key.
