When listening to AM, I get terrible static any time I travel under any ordinary road underpass and occasionally when I am just traveling on an open road. I have driven several other cars on the same route without any problem. This radio was recently replaced with a new factory radio from the dealer. Same problem. The static does not increase or decrease with changes in RPM of the engine or the speed of the car. I have 94K miles on the car and this started happening about 15,000 miles ago. Since it is not the radio, I would guess it is in the antenna or wire to the radio. Perhaps a bad ground???
