| I have 1996 850 turbo... Wahn I start car after 2 to 3 hours. I hear a scratching sound when the car picks some speed... around.. 20 km/hr like grea not getting engaged properly... this is very uncomfortable... but after this when I am driving after stopping at red lights etc.. this sound does not come... it only comes once when the car is started after few hours ( I start the car, and the wait for some time to warm up the engine..) that is when the transmission is cold.. I think... and then susquently.. this sound at those speeds or for that matter for any speeds does not come....? Is this something to do with the transmission.. Is this something to do with shifting of gears in Auto tranny.. when the gear shfits from 2nd to third... during cold conditions.. this sound comes....
does that also means that the tranny will be gone in the near future... pl help and guide |
