I have a 1998 Volvo V70 station wagon and the hatchback won't open or release. The lock seems to function just fine but the mechanism to unlatch the door is inoperable. Unlocked the exterior release is inoperable as well as the release from inside of the vehicle. Can anyone tell me how to release it so it will open and what needs repairing so it will function. Thanks in advance.
