1. Which Engine will last longer
No idea, but are you planning to drive these 300,000 miles? If not, and you plan to do regular scheduled oil/tuneups, then this shouldn't be a consideration.2. Which car will have less maintenance
I'm going to take your 'less' for 'less costly' and say the 960 because the parts are not as new/complex as an 850's, and there's fewer of them. But I would choose a 940 over a 960 for maintenance - just my opnion from what I've read, not concrete knowledge.
3. Gas consumption
I get 21 - 26 mpg in my 850 Turbo. Ask around for 960's mpg.
4. PLeasure / handling and safety.
850 blows away 960 in handling, power. No question.
5. After two years which car will give more re-sale value, if I deceide to buy new one.
Whichever is worth more now.
6. Currently which car is costlier.. 850 turbo 0r 960 ?
