Just bought a couple of used replacement seats for my 90 240 sedan. Wish I could retrun them, as they need to be rebuilt
themselves. Before buying used seats look at the seat cushion foam as these are about $300 per
seat to replace (IPD). Turn the seat upside down and look at the re-enforcement staps that are embeded
in the bottom of the foam. These usually start to breakdown as well as the foam will start to crumble as it deteriorates.
Also the seat speing grid on the bottm of the seat tends to fail with time $20 from IPD. If the seats need to be
covered you can easily spend $175.00 per seat (IPD). So the bottom line is if you buy a used seat,
you are probally just buying a core to rebuild. Check it out carefully before you play the bills.
