My 1995 850 Turbo does the same thing. I replaced the fuel pump to no avail (but it does it less frequently). I have read fuel relay and that's what I am going to do next... It's inexpensive ($40). After living with this problem for awhile I have come to the conclusion it is electrical. I may be wrong but that is my thinking.
