I didn't have a lot of money but needed something dependable. I had many, many people tell me to buy a volvo. They said that they would go 300,00 with no problem. I bought a '94 850 4door w/ 125,000 miles on it and it needed breaks and rotors, had a vacuum leak. It was taken care of as far as body and interior. My husband said that the timing belt needed changing because if it broke it blew the motor up. I did all that.... not really cheap, but still not much more than a regular car and it has driven like a dream for 8 months. All I do is change the oil and put gas in it and wash it often. I say go for it... you won't regret it. Melody
