| My car was towed into the dealer for repairs following a shattered windshield (windshield and some trim needed to be replaced, as did the steering wheel, which was scuffed up pretty badly). Insurance covers these costs. However, after two weeks the repair is not yet finished, and today, when I was to pick up the car, the shop informs me that (a) the battery has a "bad cell" and is being recharged; (b) the ABS & TRACS warning lights are indicating they are out. None of these problems were indicated before the windshield was broken. Any idea what might cause the ABS/TRACS lights warnings? Could having had the car towed led to the lights being triggered? Any help you might be able to provide would be greatly appreciated. |
