Wiper on Driver's Side Does Not Clear Wind Shield Completely

I have a 96 850 and have attempted to adjust wiper and wiper arm on drivers side so it
cleans the wind shield on that side of the car completely....
At present it only stays on the glass about half way and then angles off so that it's no
longer on the glass itself....
Have purchased a new blade and insert as well as bent the arm to make better contact
but nothing has helped....
Please advise if it's possible for me to adjust myself???
