I had my 96' 850na auto in the shop for a minor problem and the tech says that I need to change my timing belt. I only have 40k miles on it and it has never been run hard and is guraged all the time. He says it's been over 5 years and I should have him do it for $500 dollars. My question is why can't I wait till 70k like the manual says since it is well taken care of and clean? Do the 5 years really make a differance????? Any comments appreciated. Thanks, Andy
