I have oil in my coolant resevoir on my '95 Volvo 850 Turbo, 135K miles. I have heard that a blown head gasket is rare, and I have heard that the other possibility, although unlikely, is a leak through the turbo. It runs fine without noticable smoke or anything else. But, there is lots of oil in the coolant - looks like chocolate milk.
