| Well, I'm not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. I have the same car you bought, though, and although it is a pretty good car I wish I would have bought something else. Volvo service is the pits. And reliability is not as good as my experience with either Honda or Toyota. Don't take the car to a dealer for service under any circumstances is my advice. And get that jack checked out ASAP. Apparently there is a significant number of them that are faulty. Mine dropped my car when it was jacked up. Considering the number of times the car had been to the dealer for service prior to that, I was pretty hot that they never told me about the faulty jacks. I'm still getting mail from Volvo with no mention of the jacks yet. It could've killed me. Pretty ironic, I bought a volvo because it was safe yet they can't be bothered to tell me the jack is faulty. What's the chance I'd get in a wreck? What's the chance I'd need to jack up the car??? I actually put myself in danger by having a Volvo in this circumstance. There's more, but don't get me started! I hope your "honeymoon" is a long one! Diana |
