Re: 04 S60 2.5T Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir Leak
If you can see the crack and have enough space to clean the area up, I would try repairing the crack first. It is a 14 year old NY car and taking parts off causes more issues in broken tabs, bolts ... Try to grind, sand or carve a channel along the crack so that you can get a good amount of material...

Re: 04 S60 2.5T Windshield Washer Fluid Reservoir Leak
Just something to check - I had a similar problem where I'd get a puddle on the ground only when I filled the reservoir up to the top. I went to the trouble of pulling a junkyard tank, testing it and checking for cracks, and installing it, only to find I still had a leak when I topped off the reserv...

Re: 2004 S60 2.5T AWD - MAF Sensor Cleaning
some kind of special 5-point configuration. Torx Plus IPR bits. Bosch uses them on all their MAFs. Apple uses them to discourage self service of iPhones. You can find them on Ebay or Amazon. Use nothing other then MAF cleaner and don't touch the active sensor elements with anything other then the M...

Re: 2004 S60 2.5T AWD - MAF Sensor Cleaning
I'm thinking at the glove box, when flipped open, there's 4 of these that secure the outer inlay, or maybe one of those that secure the glove box to the dash - there's several of them

Re: 2004 s60 timing belt job
Don’t replace the entire SERPENTINE belt tensioner. Just replace the PULLEY. The tensioner spring itself doesn’t wear out. The bearing in the pulley DOES. For the TIMING BELT you replace the tensioner as a whole as the pulley alone is NOT replaceable. The main reason for replacing the SERP belt pull...

Re: 2004 S60 2.5T AWD Oil Change
It's real easy to overthink something like a first oil change. You'll do fine. 1) I spread an old packing blanket between my ramps to catch any flying drops of oil. 2) Many of the "white engines" listed 6.1 qt. as their capacity. There's your 7 quarts. 3) No need to change the oil drain pl...

Trust me, done this oil change many times.
All you need is 6 qts.
You don't want the universal tool. Get the tool I posted above.

Re: Transmission drain and fill - funnel size?
1/2" is the O.D. of the tubing I use. The I.D. read 1/3". I just mic'ed it to be sure. I set one end of a 14" long piece in boiling water to soften it. Then onto a funnel the softened end goes. The tubing fits perfectly into the dipstick tube but you still have to pour the new fluid i...

Re: Transmission drain and fill - funnel size?
In this video the funnel is 9/16" (14mm) outer and 3/8" (9mm) inner. The 9/16" outer is the very max would fit and need to toss the metal clip to slide inside the tube. Warm up the fluid in hot water, will flow much faster. You don't need a hot engine, so won't burn your hands https:/...
