The fault of two seemingly unrelated functions kind of points to failure of the PCB (bad soldering joints?). Hard to trace and fix unless you're an expert, so swapping the head unit seems a reasonable strategy. Beware that you need a unit from the same model year if you want more than basic function...

Also an important bit: disconnect the battery before removing the radio. If you don't, an SRS code will be triggered. Set ignition to II before reconnecting.

As far as the reverse sensor function, there may be a software component involved. If the used radio came off a vehicle that did not have the reverse sensors installed they may not work properly. This might be a downloadable package that is updated/installed at a dealer/VIDA. I seem to recall the 'p...
