Nope, he is just fine and healthy, but can't find the reverse gear for some reason. It only runs when the radio is switched on and lifts the antenna if I could get it installed. The trick of securing the banjo bolt washers with a captive, sacrificial oring has made my life easy.

The o ring holds the stuff together, you start the threads , the pull the oring off with a pick, snapping it
