Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Beautiful setup you have there ! I was going to go the pit route ( built one once before ), but 2 post lifts are much more affordable than they used to be, so that will end up being cheaper than the pit in the long run. 4 post is nice !

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Re: Volvo/cars humor

A new acronym as of today. RUD

" Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly "

Courtesy of a Space X engineer regarding today's rocket explosion.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

Spent 2 hours cleaning, for 10 minutes worth of painting. All for something that really won't be seen.
Not sure that this is a curable condition.

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?

^ Thanks F.F. ! I just used engine de-greaser, a putty knife, and wire brush, and a course Scotch Brite. I did spray it, and let it sit overnight, and then went after it again. Wash and rinse. Stupid amount of caked on stuff. The brace seems to be galvanized steel, so I wouldn't worry about damaging...
