Based on that tire wear, it looks like it has something under the hood for sure.

I'm running a NAPA battery as well. If I recall correctly, NAPA rates their cold cranking amps differently (0*) from the others (32*), so you have to keep that in mind when comparing brands.

You could reach out the Robert Spinner, and see if he's going through your area anytime soon. He might be able to source one for you.

I would replace the TCV. Get the Pierburg one. Do not get the IPD one. Check and recheck your vacuum line set-up.
As I recall, the dash boost gauge doesn't go much above 3/4 when stock.
