Re: High Volume Oil pump
The Volvo white block Oil pump is a Gerotor pump. I don't think there is any way to change the geometry and make a higher volume pump that will fit in the space provided. There is rumor that the RNC Oil pump is bigger. You might look into building a RNC block and install it instead of the RN block. ...

Re: Who's gotten vaccinated?
This may be the first mRNA vaccine to be produced, but the technology has been around since the 1980's. Concerning possible bad long term effects, this short article tells that most bad side effects show up in a couple months. https://www.muhealth.org/our-stories/how-do-we-know-covid-19-vaccine-wont...

Re: The Resurrection of (10/1998 to 01/2021) Elizabeth 1999 V70T5M56 Cylinder Head Job
Yes. From what I've read there's also a difference in the internal runners as well as in the metallurgy to prevent that cracking. What I don't know is what years / models the japanifold was used. I don't think it was for long before they went to the " R ". Correct. A buddy of mine over on...

Re: Engine block bolts / bearings
My default strategy for parts hunting is...
1. volvowebstore for VIDA exploded diagrams and parts numbers
then...
2. FCP for anything expensive, or cheap that can ride on another order
3. Tasca next
4. volvowebstore next.
Skandix.de often has good descriptions and part number history, too.

Re: Engine block bolts / bearings
A great source for nuts and bolts is IPD. They source the MTC equivalents of the Volvo factory fasteners and price them out about half of the factory fastener rate. You could get them on the phone and see what they come up with.

Re: P80 headlights Possible to Remove Headlight Reflector, rechroming discussion 8628402 8628403
My headlights are shot so this thread really interests me. Got impatient and didn't want to wait for Monday's results, so started googling. At first I didn't want to be a spoil sport by posting others results, but then figured the polishing might get missed, so ... BMW forums, Honda forums, etc have...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Going through major withdrawals, having not driven or worked on Sveedy for 3 months, 2 days, so I dropped the fuel tank in order to replace leaking hoses. I wanted all the gas from 3 months ago out of there as well, so I won't have to worry about bad gas when I finally get to turn the key again. Ge...

It'll come back to you. And if you're second guessing anything, you know who to ask!
