I also did the tranny flush using this method on my 2000 S70 GLT recently. I'm a novice but it was successful. I bought the green snap lock an two o-rings before performing. I put the marked milk jug inside a 5 gallon paint bucket in case of spills, which I did have a small overfill of the milk jug ...

I assume the gearbox is the GM but can't see it from the open hood ... This one is easy,
the engine computer fan will cause all those codes and more as soon as the computer gets too hot.
the 5 amp fuse for the fan is in the power distribution box in the engine bay.
