I have a complete engine from an 04 c70. 2.4l. Head is cracked and there might be some piston rod damage but the crank and block is in good shape. I also have access to about 10 yards in my area (Tampa) so I can pull parts if needed

Try putting vida on it and wiggle the wires going to the etm if you haven't already. It's obviously a short somewhere if this happens only over bumps. I25? Sounds like you're in Colorado?
