Re: ...try, try again.
Looks attractive to me, as long as the transmission is solid. The black interior is not as good for comfort down south, but I put up with a black leather 240 in central Texas for 5 years and it wasn't too bad... you just always had to park in the shade or else suffer.

Re: ...try, try again.
Personally, I'd avoid it because of well-known 2001-2002 model year transmission issues (or do some research and use those issues as a bargaining chip). Black interior in the south could be a deal breaker, but I guess you could try heat-rejecting window film. Note: I have only read about this stuff....

Re: ...try, try again.
Here’s the scoop on the 2001 trans, Beth. The car came from Sweden with a neutral stop software that was problematic. Most every car had it removed by the dealer as a recall item. If the car drives and shifts without flares or jerks, it’s fine. 3k for a T5 in that condition is a good price, you get ...

Re: ...try, try again.
two questions I'd ask, the mfger of the CV axles and how many keys does it come with.

Would be interesting to hear from those who may have actually used it I put 50% on my front and rear side windows. Volvo has already a t...

Re: ...try, try again.
I also believe there is heat rejecting film that has little or no tint from some cursory research.

Re: ...try, try again.
I’m unaware of any paper service manuals for P2’s, unless printed PDF counts. Most use ViDA 2014D and a DiCE unit to interface with the vehicle. Rick is one of the ViDA gurus here and there is an entire section dedicated to ViDA related concerns HERE . It’s not a very user friendly system, but it ca...

Re: ...try, try again.
Sometimes you just have to kiss a lot of frogs. In my area I'll bet the XCs outsold the Vs 3:1. High soccer mom concentration. Specific model, I would argue, is less important than service history and condition. Find a good one that's been cared for and it can be a treat. Your maintenance costs on A...
