Hum ... If we where to build up a baseline by doing random samples. Then sample bytes and subtract the baseline. Would the latency difference on the CEM-B become significant or would the jitter still hide the correct byte?

There are a few reports of Volvos (early P2?) with over heating main computers under the dash. A solution is to add a fan or direct A/C flow at the CEM computer.
