Re: FDPP #2

We may need to expand the area to draw from for a used spring/strut assembly. These can ship reasonably.

Anyone have one?

Re: FDPP #2

I’d need to look, but I think I have one off a V70. Should be the same fitment. Pretty sure I have all but the spring, but let me check. If your spring isn’t cracked (usually if they crack its ~1/2 of a coil off the bottom) just reuse it. The strut I (think I) have didn’t look the best, but it also ...

Re: Intake air temp showed up as 203F. Normal?

Do you have a pic I can go by so I make sure I'm unhooking the right part(s)? This is what Jimmy 57 is talking about. There is a mechanical thermostat in the Air intake hose that switches over to warm air pulled around the exhaust when it is cold. It might be stick on warmed air intake. https://www...

Re: FDPP #2

Turns out I was wrong. 8667253 A. Does have spring, spring seat is good, top bearing plate is good. I don’t know what shipping will run you, but you can have it (and the LSM) for the cost of shipping. 05F6549E-BC4B-4F43-AB7F-5276DEBF4AD5.jpeg 18776AEE-DB90-4AE3-A53C-52E683A840C1.jpeg 3904EEC1-CA26-4...

Re: FDPP #2

I don’t think it will be a problem. Worse comes to worst, you can swap your original spring over to this strut. The struts should all be the same, it’s the springs that are different. How different? Probably not much.

Re: FDPP #2

Travel is likely the same, it's probably just a little stiffer. I know for the XC90, for example, they just superseded the standard strut with the sport version. The fact that they did that shows that there likely isn't a huge difference in the PNs. Especially considering that it's used, it should m...

Re: Lever on rear lower left of driver's seat

If its the black one on the back by the seat base it will release the upper seat to fold up towards the steering wheel. There should be one on the drivers and passenger seat. Send a picture so I know which lever you're talking about.
