Re: engine oil
Can we say like this? There is no connection between the engine mileage and the oil used. You should use whatever oil recommended by the factory. I would agree, but unfortunately, I have not found the oil weight clearly documented by Volvo. There is a temperature range chart, and 10w30 is highlight...

Re: Parts brands - OE Volvo, trusted aftermarket, and bad
Since we're on the subject, here's the infamous URO parts thread where URO responded, defending its products. I'm not judging, just reporting. URO, if you'd like to post here again in any capacity, please do. I'm not seeing the connection between UroTuning and URO Parts after visiting each website.

Re: VVT solenoid, misfire, lean condition, smell gas

Re: 1998 v70 GLT
The cap and rotor look dirty, and corroded, but for the short term could probably be cleaned up. I did that on my car since I was ordering parts, and I still needed to go to work. I used a wire wheel on my Dremal tool to clean the contacts, and sprayed everything with brake cleaner, and made sure it...

Re: 98 v70--- will these steelies fit?
Now that I've slept, I realize what I wrote doesn't follow what you're describing. The RWD rim should already be out too far on the FWD car. Have you test fitted the new rims yet?

Re: radiator - is it usable ?
So what was the conclusion to this? Did you use it, or return it? As long as the tube to plate connections didn't crack, I suspect this radiator would cool fine. I'd be rather upset to get a new radiator like that, However. I had issues getting a radiator shipped to me from Rockauto too, but it was ...
