Re: Vida CEM swapping
You can always dump it and send in chunks. Usually ping is high, its nowhere near 1ms unless done locally.

Re: Vida CEM swapping
Please try the J2534 tool, for now works on Hispeed bus(so do not choose anything else), be sure to click 29 bit extended ID. Platform also does nothing useful quite yet. Sources in the near future when everything works correctly. I am happy with the way the monitor works, please test with Mongoose ...

Re: Safe to Drive 2006 V70 NA with failed rear O2 sensor heater ?
The rear sensors indeed just monitor cat performance. Take the trip and fix whenyou get back. Actually no, since for the NA engine I have reverse engineered quite a lot of code. It does actually provide additional feedback for fuel mixture. That is to say that the signal from the rear o2 helps to s...

Re: 2001 V70 T5 - Slipping AW55 Solutions?
Have you used the proper fluid for the transmission? And in case, just find a shop that will replace the trans. Another thing you can do is a software update + clearing adaptations. As for the codes, looks like either a busted sensor or some electrical trouble between it and TCM.

Re: 2001 V70 T5 - Slipping AW55 Solutions?
Btw, a non-working sensor could absolutely cause slipping etc. The speed sensor is important for the calculation of inertia(there is a fallback to a working speed source e.g abs). And inertia is directly proportional to the pressure applied, since inertia is used for pretty much all pressure maps in...

Re: I’m devastated - 02 V70 2.4T engine is toast
Very interesting. What exactly happened here? Oil cooler broke and forced the oil pressure inside the water system causing the hose to blow up? But that doesn't explain how that small seal popped out.

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
I have a few things that have slowly creeped up now that need to be done. My CNG tank is expiring and as such I need to figure out if I will rip out the system and replace with LPG with a separated lpg computer, or if I will have to modify the system to accept LPG(this will take the longest time and...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
On my previous Aw55 transmission, changing the oil at one point yielded no benefits. And when I say changing the oil, I do mean 40 actual quarts over a span of a year. At some point I replaced it. My "new" transmission is somewhat better and I think it's the first where I've seen a benefit...

Re: Vida CEM swapping
Slight experiment to see where it will end up https://i.imgur.com/AQ7lxi7.png https://i.imgur.com/KBrV2lu.png So the way vida works is it calls a stored SQL procedure to decode the vin, then fetches several profiles based on the general model, then it fetches one with the general engine and then fin...

Re: Vida CEM swapping
May potentially contain inaccurate data at times(such as missing paint codes;missing items or items that do not belong there), without testing a few different vins(from eur region) and comparing to vida, I cannot be certain if i got it all. Sometimes the data is there but not the right query. Work f...
