It was the key. Somehow the dead battery caused issues with the chip in the key. I ordered new blank ID48 chips from UHS-hardware.com for $3.50 each (I grabbed 4 because they were so cheap) then doublebug aka TotalAutoTech aka datatransfering.com aka a2zautolocksmith.com connected to my car remotely...
