Re: P80 P2 Subframe Bushing installation with pictures 3507923
Special bushing press.jpg I used the washer from the first bushing and turned it upside down and glued some top strut nuts on it to make an installation tool and a bushing bolt to fully seat the bushing. This was necessary so that the force is distributed on the plastic frame of the bushing, not th...

Re: What did you do to your P2 Volvo today?
Nice work. The IMASAF exhaust looks like a quality unit. Love your large work area and the brick pavers. Thank you :) Yes, so far we had good success with the IMASAF exhaust on my partner's Volvo V70 II, so I went with them again. I'll have to check when the rear muffler was last replaced by the pr...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
The dashboard kickpanel of my 1998 Volvo V70 I has a broken tab where it should be held in place by a screw under the steering wheel. While the previous owner "fixed" that by screwing a drywall screw into the side of the kickpanel, I preferred a more lasting repair... PXL_20240325_21572215...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Thanks for the feedback and the kind words. Since this seems to be a bigger issue, I'll start a new thread in the evening and will publish the files on Printables.

Re: 3D Printed Kickpanel Repair Patch
This is awesome! Something to attach to the slot that's on the dash near the corner would be cool too. I just took my kick panel off to find that's broken as well. I was thinking of trying to use fiberglass or epoxy to repair it, I just haven't had time to really get under there and look. PXL_20240...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Both door marker lights in my V70 I were broken (well, one was missing entirely), so I bought two new used ones (very inexpensively) which are not broken.. However today I found out that they are in fact broken as well, the clip is broken off on one and cracked on the other one... PXL_20240407_14561...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Funny, now that you said "all four", I realized that the rear has these lights as well... One side is in perfect condition, but the other side was smashed to pieces  PXL_20240408_205041045.jpg Unfortunately the inner plastic part that is supposed to hold the light has been d...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
I made a short video before work. As you can see, it snaps in quite nicely and you can get it out again, but it won't fall out on it's own. It might take a few days until I publish everything on Printables.
