Yeah, not too sure I will get that lucky on the exhaust. If you think it would be fine as is with the 3" dp and cat you recommended I will run it that way. I despise droning and obnoxious burbles lol Yeah, the stock exhaust will be just fine, even with the performance downpipe. The biggest res...

can anyone confirm that the rear driveshaft bolts to diff torque spec is 26 ft lbs then 90 degree turn? Are these bolts reusable or one time use? Red loctite or just torque? One time use. New ones come with new loctite pre applied. I’ve re-used them, but it’s not advisable because they a) like to s...

You guys/gals are going to get tired of all of my questions lol. I would like to replace the front and rear brakes, rotors and front soft brake lines. What do you recommend? The brakes currently work but rear brakes are thin and I would rather not risk failure of the soft lines on the road and star...

TY. These are the parts I already ordered. Some have made it here and some will be here this week. Like all thinks on cars, there are different opinions. I have reused the prop-shaft bolts multiple times with no issues. The one thing I check is the hex head is not damaged. If it is I do not re-use them. These bolts are not torque to yield. The first torque is to seat the flange square. 2nd is to...

Quick wipe down and vacuum of the interior. Not as bad as I thought although from the seat fabric it looks like the po owned a pet raccoon, or one made it its home when it was in the field https://i.imgur.com/Sxb6oAr.jpg https://i.imgur.com/m4tmwUW.jpg Looks fantastic! Cleaned up nice given how lon...

Running the vin on the site given to me by v50m66 this info came back on the engine, is this typical for a 99? I figured they all had ear and air pumps at that time. w/o EGR, w/o air pump, w/OBDII, w/variable valve timing, Bosch ME 7.0, w/RuLo, w/ORVR Transmission: V70 R That’s all correct. ‘99 was...

Could always swap it into a T5 of your choosing.melmaclifeform wrote: ↑08 Aug 2025, 16:04 The black marble is fantastic. It’s one of the reasons I’ve kept my GLT so long instead of trying to find a T5.
However, speaking from personal experience, a GLT car is a very good time with a 16T and some extra boost…
