Re: 850 Petrol 1995 2,5 L 20 V Lambda sensor Regulating probe issue
So the secondary locking device is missing from the receptacle? AMP part number in your picture is 4-965101-1, I guess if you look at the other side of the housing it should be Volvo part number 3545976? Just replace the receptacle housing...

Re: 96' 850 problem torque converter/lock-up clutch
Torque converter lockup will never be engaged in 1st gear, so it's not responsible for jerky starts.

Re: Getting up arrow and check engine light on after repairing PNP switch
TCM is innocent until proven guilty. Car off, parking brake set, TCM removed, measure ohms from ECU box TCM connector pin A20 to each of pins A3, A4, A5, A6 in every gear selector position.

Re: Getting up arrow and check engine light on after repairing PNP switch
Just to make sure I have this right, I'm looking down into the ECU and TCU housing and I hook up my multimeter like so and test continuity on pins A3 (jn P, R,N, D, 3, L), A4 (jn P, R,N, D, 3, L), A5 (jn P, R,N, D, 3, L) and A6 (jn P, R,N, D, 3, L)? Yes, that's right. If you look at the chart in th...

Re: Getting up arrow and check engine light on after repairing PNP switch
OK! So the switch contacts for C, PA, 50S and BL are good, but A and B are open circuit. Also, the wiring between the ECU box and the transmission is OK. You need to replace the switch or redo the repair. No need to measure across the blue line. Now that we know A20 to A5/A6 are OK, we know the grou...

Re: Getting up arrow and check engine light on after repairing PNP switch
Another note. My guess would be that inside the switch, the innermost trace (closest to the circular hole) is ground, the next is PA, then A, then B; and the outermost two traces are shared between C, 50S and BL; and there is an electrical connection between the innermost two copper brushes at the w...
