+1 on this. Just had the similar symptoms on an 06 V50 T5 AWD. The owner was having overheating issues. As a start we swapped the thermostat. The old one was jammed shut and there was no jiggle valve in it either. It was an aftermarket item. This is not a fun job as getting the airbox out is a chall...
