Re: Locking Gas Cap, Automatic Locking Action
So, as to your actual question, it doesn't seem that Volvo makes a gas cap that fits your description, at least not for your V70. Check out the accessories catalog here: https://accessories.volvocars.com/en-gb/V70(-00)/1998/all/all/L.H.D (click the "Complete Catalog" link for a .pdf). Aut...

P80 DIY: Oil Cooler Line Rebuild 3528201 3528207
The oil cooler lines on these cars are known for leaking where the rubber hose is crimped to the metal ends. Mine have been leaking for about 4 years, but it was a slow leak. Today I decided to repair them. The Volvo replacements are a steep $250 for the pair. There are aftermarket brands but the re...

Re: No power after braking
How would ABS unit cause the engine to lose power? I would suspect you have a faulty one way valve on the vacuum line going to the booster... And/Or more likely leaking booster itself.. I would try blocking that line going to the booster, take car for a drive in a safe open area (as it going to be h...

Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor
It's the Internet. Now you have someone ordering a DOHC and installing it on a 20 valve car just yo be pedan-dick.
Merry Kwanzakadan, everyone
Isn't DOHC Latin for Decadus on Headus Cylinderus....10 Valves?

Re: Intake Air Temp Sensor
I have a DOHC cover from a 10 valve head and I have a spare 20 valve head. Should I try and fit it to see if I can change the unwritten Volvo god Thor's rule-set? What will become of me if it does fit? Will I be struck by lightning or worse still will Thor render all 5 of my coil packs blown? Tune i...

Re: '96 855 T5 - Vacuum - does it matter where it comes from?
I think the FPR and turbo vacuum have to come from specific places. The rest won't matter too much.
That's an educated (?) guess
