Re: Pre vs post facelift body parts

Cutouts for turn signals on pre facelift cars are the same as for later cars and they are not the problem because later cars have bigger trims which goes under them to fill the gap for smaller turn signal lights. Compare a fender from early and later cars and you will see that they are the same...ex...

Re: Pre vs post facelift body parts

Probably because of a carrier/frame which holds headlights, turn signals, radiators and horns. Openings for them are bigger for early cars since headlights and turn signals are bigger. You can swap whole front end (headlights, turn signals, bumper)between early and later cars as long as you have matched...

Re: Pre vs post facelift body parts

I have a little dent on front passenger fender and found locally a perfect matched color fender from early car to swap it when i have time.
I also had doubts will it fit...but when you compare it closely...it is the same...minus a narrower trim...which can also be swapped from my fender.

Re: Start and stall after injector service. 97 855t

You didn't mention intake manifold removal on 1st post.

Re: 1993 850 coming from wrong port.

A3 is diagnostic port for abs.
Engine codes should be read from A2(ecu) & A6 (ignition module).

Re: Can new PCV box be defective?

Compression test will tell you something and not telling you anything....leaving you to chase your own tail. That said....if oil control rings are shot...compression will still be good but it will pouring oil into intake through pcv system. Testing should be more intense...compression,leak down, dry ...

Re: 1998 S70 :TCU replaced but do I need Vida to connect?

When there are fault codes stored in TCM module, they don't reset with battery disconnect like engine ecu. You will need at least VOL-FCR or 850app to read & clear the codes to see what's going on. Why did you replaced TCM at first place? Does the orange arrow flashing or it just stays on? When T...

Re: 96' 850 problem torque converter/lock-up clutch

There are so many tyre shops which doesn't remove old weights before new balancing...they just add more if needed...resulting in bad vibrations which was hardly noticeable before balancing.
Now....i just visit one or two tyre shops because of that and avoid others.
