You just disconnect the core from the metal pipes. The whole white plastic climate system comes out to service the evaporator. Use a Dremel and cut the Evap off after you remove the plate in front of the firewall. No messing with the clips, takes 2 minutes You can do it one long day. Say 10 hours. Y...

The white plastic thing gets pulled out of the car, with or without the heater core, then you remove the shiny metal clips to expose the evaporator core

If you have exact measurements of a brand new o rings that would help a lot because we have some kind of o ring & seal shop 20km from my place.

Thanks to misha and abscate for their expertise.

Runs much rougher with injector on burnt-valve cylinder removed. Seems like even at 55psi, that cylinder fires some....?

My shop will do the valve job in a week.
