Re: Volvo 850 Transmission Solenoid Replacement DIY
Wow, this is really an awesome write up. Thanks a lot for taking the time to do this. I think this will save people a considerable amount of money. Dealers and shops probably charge a good amount to do this.

Re: Eastern European Parts
After having two sets of German made Zimmermann brake discs warp on me I bought a set from Bosch instead. Made in China. They've been excellent so far. I'm more concerned about the brands reputation than country of manufacture personally when it comes to parts that unlike for example oil don't have ...

Re: 1999 v70r running rich
I know that it is a bit late on this one but I like to post the resolution for these threads. The problem appears to have been the oxygen sensor - the used one that was swapped in had apparently not been sitting on the 'healing shelf' long enough to be a working unit. It has since been placed in a p...

But the fuel pressure regulator usually keeps the same fuel pressure relative to manifold pressure, thus keeping the same injector flow rate. Usually most vehicles are at the 40PSI range with the pump running, an...

Re: 97 850 T5 Temperature gauge works intermittently
Hello Mecheng, Thks for the reply. Which connector are you referring to? The one(s) on the back of the cluster? Or one in the engine compartment? I applied contact cleaner to the ones on the back of the instrument cluster. If it is one(s) in the engine compartment, can you advise the location of the...

Re: Coronavirus Thread
Vaccines help prevent the spread, they don't aid in recovery. Typically, the flu vaccine is between 40-60% effective in protecting the individual from getting flu. This creates enough people who don't get the flu to prevent it from widespread distribution. You don't get a flu vaccine for you, its fo...
