The front catalytic elements still seem fairly clean:

Yep, based on my research, I'm figuring around $800-850 for parts and the head re-do. I've removed the head in the past years ago, so.......

Thanks, great tips... Just a few tricks: - Always get new green clips and O-rings. FCPEuro has them. - Avoid using cork bc debris from cork can get into ATF: not a good idea. Instead, cut a "finger" off the rubber glove and use rubber band to seal it. Easy trick. - Rad choice is: Volvo vs ...

Old thread alert! 850R ( is FWD) only has one pump and even the V70R has only one pump. The AWD V/S70's have a 'saddle' tank that is almost 2 halves lopped over the propshaft. The RHS has the pump just as any FWD. Difference is on an AWD you have to drop at least the front of the tank to access, but...
