Re: For MVS People who love animals…..
How very timely that I came across this thread 2 weeks ago and thank you for posting the Pet Assessment on page one. Our very special Gus was diagnosed with bone cancer two weeks prior, the vet described the tumour as large and aggressive and located where the pelvis meets the spine. Gus had been ha...

Re: Let's see your Volvo (The Photo Thread)
Yeah all the vendors sent me stickers, but I didn't know where to put them. So since she's a bit of a sleeper, I figured under the hood would be a good place. :) Now as to that plate; It's a very unique one. It is the 161st " environmental " plate ever issued in AZ. I believe it was '93 or...

Re: Mold removal from complete interior

Spray on cleaning solution, work it in with a rotary brush, remove water with a spot cleaning vacuum. Can anyone recommend a good steam...

Re: awful mileage at 149K
My 2008 LR2 3.2 and 2010 S80 3.2 both are capable of getting much higher MPG than what you are getting. The XC90 is bigger so it won't be quite as good but it should be close Note: to get good highway fuel economy you will need to keep the RPMs under 2000 (about 64 MPH for my 3.2's) FREE2 READERS, T...

Re: Cancer/illnesses, and caregiver, support thread
I'm hanging in there. I lost a good friend of mine back in April, and then his wife passed away in June. My brother in law passed away in August. Dad's all healed up from his burns, and is doing well. Mom's been in and out of the hospital all year fighting an infection she hasn't been able to get ri...

Re: Help with vacuum lines!
The rubber looks bad in some of your pics, those cracks in the hoses will leak air. I'd consider replacing as many vacuum lines as you can get to, it looks like you have a non-turbo so see https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=65002. For turbo cars look here https://www.ma...
