Re: Volvo mechanic recommendation near Santa Rosa, California?
. Both are reputable shops. Ali was my classmate for 1.5 years at the local JC while studying electronics. Volvo pick him up right after his obtaining an AA in Electronics. Super sharp mechanically and diagnostics besides a good human being. Antonio was my go to place for small quantities of Swepco ...

Re: Volvo mechanic recommendation near Santa Rosa, California?
My Brother got back to me. The name of the repair shop was:
Calvary Tire and Brake. Run by 2 brothers. Has many good reviews and they worked on my brother's 97 850. Hopefully they can help you. He says they are on the East side of the town and before Oakmont.
Neil.

Re: High NOx fails emissions but no codes - 1997 850 R
Great to hear! Obviously the CO is good, but the others are approaching the limit.... is that about normal, or are they borderline? I'm not from an emissions testing state, so I don't have any idea what is typical. I wish I had my OG 850 T-5 emissions printout for comparison. I looked for it in my ...

Re: What have you hauled in your Volvo?
Not mines, but the beginnings of catching the Volvo bug.
2 years back, I had to borrow a friends car to move a couch. Even after taking measurements, was surprised it fit width and height wise. The couch was sticking 25cm out, so I had to strap the tailgate down.

Re: 2000 V70 - Low heat from HVAC
The job is done! There wasn't any obvious copper stop leak in the old core like I thought there might be. I might try to flush the old core with water just to see what happens. It's definitely not the original heater core, but I don't know how old it is or what brand it is, appears to have been a ch...

Re: No communication from forum member
Well chaps I decided to google about revolut and what they do about fraud on their accounts. I followed the prompts and lodged a complaint through their website at approximately 1pm. The process was painless and they looked for info such as emails ,forum correspondence and of course a screen shot of...

Re: 2000 V70 XC new car problems
You might possibly have several issues with this car. First, I would check the fuel pressure(check valve to the side of the injector rail. Around 3-3.5bar with car running, 1 bar with car being off. ). Next, start the car. Bring to operating temperature and in stationary position rapidly press brake...

Re: 07 xc70 lukewarm heat am stumped
Run CCM calibration (DiCE/VIDA required). You may have a faulty blend door actuator. Common problem. I believe the specialist I took it to did that but going to text him to confirm. But that had we thinking about the climate control module and how to rule out if it's gone bad or not. Apart from ord...

I believe the specialist I took it to did that but going to text him to confirm. But that had we thinking about the climate control module and how to rule out if it's gone bad or not. Apart from ordering one online, swapping it and testing the heat, are there any other ways to rule it out? CCM cali...
